Fred Ohlsson is Group Executive, ANZ Australia with responsibility for Retail and Commercial Banking Australia.

Australia is ANZ’s largest market, serving approximately six million customers through a network of around 718 branches, 30 business centres, 2,596 ATMs (including 800+ Smart ATMs) and leading online and mobile banking applications.

Fred returned to ANZ’s Australia business in 2016 from ANZ New Zealand where he was Managing Director, Retail and Business Banking since 2013.

He has held a number of senior roles at ANZ since 2001 including General Manager Commercial Products (Australia) and General Manager Products and Marketing, Esanda.

Before joining ANZ, Fred was an Associate at McKinsey and Company.

Originally from Sweden, he holds an MBA from the Bocconi University School of Management, Milan, Italy and a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from Lund University, Sweden.
